Mental Health is a key part of human existence. Your brain links billions of nerves cells to coordinate your thoughts, emotions, behavior, sensations, movements and everything else that goes on in your body... with this said, it is essential to keep your mental health in order.

Here are some activities you can do to improve and maintain your mental health;

Move: Take a walk, jog or run, movement stimulates your body & brain.

Breath: Practice a healthy breathing pattern here is one that relaxes your mind, Take a deep long breath for 10 seconds, hold the breath for 10 seconds, then release your breath slowly for 10 seconds. Do this exercise 5 times in a row “For breath is life, and if you breathe well you will live long on earth.” ~Sanskrit proverb.

Practice noticing your thoughts, Identify, challenge and replace the unhealthy ones.

Lastly here are some of the foods that will improve your mental health; vegetables, whole grains, berries, nuts, fish, poultry, legumes & beans, olive oil & red wine.
