Diarrhea, also known as Stomach flu or Intestinal flu is the frequent passage of loose, watery, soft stools with or without abdominal bloating, pressure, and cramps commonly referred to as gas or flatulence.

It is also one of the most common reasons for people to seek medical advice; it can range from a mild, temporary condition, to one that can be life-threatening.

Also, breastfed babies often pass loose, pasty stools, which is normal and not diarrhea.
